      V2.0 of The Equalization & Mixing Study Module is scheduled to be released in January, 2004.  Added to the currently available module will be more advanced mixing techniques, samples, examples and exams. RID online Theory certification reduces tuition for the RID campus Recording Engineer program.

     The Compression and Mastering Study Module is scheduled to be released in February, 2004.  Dynamics processing is a powerful signal processing tool used in mixing and in the all important step of mastering the final product.  RID online Theory certification reduces both tuition and campus attendance requirements for the RID campus Recording Engineer program.

     The Introduction to Basic Music Theory Study Module is also scheduled for release in February, 2004.  The module covers basic reading and use of music notation as well as keys, scales, harmony and using basic chord progressions.  RID online Theory certification reduces both tuition and campus attendance requirements for the RID campus Associate and Recording Engineer programs. 

     The Music Business Study Module is the remaining module scheduled for release in February, 2004.  The module covers copyrights, music publishing, recording contracts and other items necessary to understand if you are producing or releasing music.  RID online Theory certification can reduce both tuition and campus attendance requirements for the RID campus Music Producer program.

     The Studio Maintenance Study Module is scheduled to be released in March, 2004.  The module covers basic ohms law, bench repair techniques, tape recorder and recording equipment alignment & maintenance.  RID online Theory certification reduces tuition and for the RID campus Recording Engineer program. 

     The Music Marketing & Promotion Study Module is also scheduled for release in March, 2004.  The module covers marketing & promotional strategy for releasing music locally and regionally.  Both traditional and online techniques are covered.  RID online Theory certification can reduce both tuition and campus attendance requirements for the RID campus Music Producer program.

     For the 2004-2005 Alexander Magazine and Recording Institute Of Detroit plan to release approximately 5 additional study modules as well as completing any necessary updating of current study modules.  Release of the new modules is expected to begin August, 2004.
